Dr. Wright is a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Virginia and an Instructor in the Master of Arts in Professional Studies program at Thomas Edison State College. He is the author of The Wealth of Nations Rediscovered: Integration and Expansion in American Financial Markets, 1780-1850, and Hamilton Unbound: Finance and the Creation of the American Republic. Dr. Wright is a consulting editor for EH.Net Encyclopedia and a member of the book review board of Business History Review. He has presented at more than 30 conferences and published many essays on economic history.
