Overview

This mentoring session will focus on identifying and/or selecting the methodology strategy for your DBA project proposal. With the completion of the research and statistics courses in the previous terms of the doctoral program, you, working in conjunction with your faculty mentor, will begin the final review and selection of your study’s research methodology.

In this course, the emphasis is on creating a research methodology matrix and detailed outline for writing the third chapter of your DBA project proposal.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate their understanding of the appropriate application of applied research processes, along with the quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodologies that are the best for their DBA project.
  • Design a research methods matrix for the DBA project proposal.
  • Give and receive feedback, from both the faculty mentor as well as peers, through the posting of assignment drafts in the discussion forums.
