Overview
This mentoring session will focus on identifying and/or selecting the methodology strategy for the student's DBA project proposal. Each student will be expected to complete a draft of his or her methods chapter by the end of this mentoring session.
Throughout this mentoring session, students will be engaged in learning new research methods and their possible applications to the student's DBA project. Emphasizing the peer-to-peer mentoring model, each student will be engaged in leading a weekly graduate seminar discussion, teamwork with other members of the cohort, as well as projects that involve the entire cohort. The faculty mentor will provide guidance and feedback to all students.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Select statistical methodologies for their applied research DBA Project.

Demonstrate understanding of the relevance of applied research methods, as well as quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods, that are the most applicable for their respective DBA projects.

Give and receive feedback from both the faculty mentor as well as peer feedback through the posting of drafts in the discussion forums.
