Overview

This course focuses on the development and refinement of a final draft of the dissertation Research Methodology (Chapter 3) component continuing from the drafts prepared in DOC917.

Students will prepare and polish a final draft at Level 3 quality based on feedback from their dissertation chair and their own reflection, critical thinking, additional research, analysis, and evaluation.

Course Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Create a final draft of the chapter based on feedback from the course advisor or dissertation chair, further research, analysis, and evaluation of content and presentation.
  • Integrate a complete research methodology into the dissertation proposal.
  • Justify an original and authentic contribution to the research scholarship as a proposed dissertation study.
