Overview
This course is focused on the data collection phase of the candidate's dissertation research. Over the next eight weeks candidates will conduct their research as outlined in Chapter 3 of their dissertation proposal and begin to write up their results. Candidates will use the assignments in this course to help them begin writing Chapter 4 (data reporting) and Chapter 5 (data analysis) of their dissertation.
In the course project, Dissertation: Chapter 4 (Level 2), Chapter 5 (Level 1), and Chapter 1 (Level 4), candidates collect data according to the methodology approved by their dissertation committee, describe their data collection procedures, and provide a draft data analysis. Further, candidates revise Chapter 1 of their dissertation to be publication ready.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Show evidence of research and data collection as specified in Chapter 3 of their dissertation proposal.

Complete Chapter 4, Level 1 and Level 2 of their dissertation.

Complete Chapter 1, Level 4 of their dissertation.
