Admission Requirements
Applicants are granted admission into the Dual MBA program on the basis of their academic records and evaluations of their potential for success. Students interested in the JIU – UIA Laguna program must meet admissions requirements for both institutions.
Here is a list of admission requirements:
- Original Birth Certificate.
- Certified copy of undergraduate diploma.
- Certified copy of Professional Cédula.
- Proof of payment for the Admissions Fee. ($500.00 Pesos Mexicanos)
- Proof of payment for the Registration Fee.
- Solicitud de Materias.
- Two (2) small photos (tamaño infantil).
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Interview with Program Coordinator.
- Completed JIU Degree Application Form.
- Proof of English language proficiency.
- * Proof of admission into the UIA Laguna Maestría en Administración y Alta Dirección (MAAD) program.
- Respond to the JIU admission questions. Responses should be minimum of 1 paragraph but no longer than 2 paragraphs in length.
* Formal letter sent directly from the MAAD Coordinator at Universidad Iberoamericana Laguna to JIU.
Applicants are encouraged to submit all official documents within three months to complete the admissions file. Students must then take at least one course within two offerings of admission. All coursework must be completed within three and a half years from a student’s admission date. After that time period you must apply for an extension. Conditional Admittance
Under certain circumstances, the admissions committee may grant conditional admittance. You must generally meet the conditions for full admittance within 6 months or less.
