Full-text articles for approximately 4,000 scholarly publications, with coverage of nearly all academic areas of study, including social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, language and linguistics, arts and literature, medical sciences and ethnic studies.
- Article First
Index of articles from magazines, journals and other periodicals. Subject areas include business, current affairs, humanities, law, leisure, medicine, popular culture, science, social science and technology.
- Associations Unlimited
Directory of U.S., international, regional and state associations. Links to some full text materials, such as brochures, logos and membership applications. Enhanced directory, including name, address, phone, fax, email, website, number of members and some links to association publications. Information included for nearly 500,000 groups.
- Britannica
This version of the popular encyclopedia includes more than 118,000 articles from the print edition, 8,500 articles featured only in the online edition and 300,000 related websites chosen by the editors. There are also thousands of sounds, animations and video clips covering topics ranging from rainforests to the Holocaust.
- Business Source Premier
Full-text articles from more than 3,600 scholarly journals and business periodicals covering management, economics, finance, accounting, international business and more. Selected full-text articles are available from publications such as the Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Marketing Research and the Journal of International Marketing. The database also contains abstracted and indexed articles from 3,335 journals.
- Communication & Mass Media Complete
The result of the merging of two popular databases in the fields of communication and mass media studies, CommSearch (formerly produced by the National Communication Association), and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Pennsylvania State University). Provides resources for students, researchers and educators interested in any and all aspects of communication and mass media.

A highly interactive eBook database that covers all academic subject areas. The collection currently includes more than 30,000 titles from more than 220 of the world’s leading academic, scientific, technical and medical (STM) and professional publishers.
- ERIC: Educational Resources Information Center, U.S. Dept. of Education
Index to education resources in journals and related sources. Periodical articles and references to books, theses, curricula, conference papers, and standards and guidelines. Unpublished sources of educational materials produced by the ERIC Clearinghouses are also included. Intended for administrators, community, counselors, parents, policy makers, practitioners, researchers, students, support staff and teachers.
- Education Abstracts
Covers English-language periodicals and yearbooks related to education and includes articles, book reviews, educational film reviews, charts and graphs, interviews, editorials, software reviews, law cases and critiques of theses. Subject areas include school administration and supervision, preschool, elementary, secondary, higher and adult education, teacher education, vocational education, counseling and personnel service, teaching methods and curriculum.

Company and industry intelligence on more than 300,000 companies, with millions of records covering corporate parent/sibling relationships; industry rankings; products and brands; company performance ratings; investment reports; industry statistics; current investment ratings; comprehensive financial overviews; pricing momentum and key ratio measures; financial ratios; and more.
- LexisNexis
LexisNexis Academic contains full-text documents from over 5,900 news, business, legal, medical, and reference publications. LexisNexis Congressional has full text of more than 214 years' worth of detailed information about Congress, including member biographies, committee assignments and voting records. LexisNexis Statistical has U.S. government-issued statistics starting in 1973, and 1,000 of the best statistical publications of private and state government sources beginning in 1980. It also contains 2,000 titles from 100 international intergovernmental organizations from 1983 on.
- PsycARTICLES
Full-text database containing articles on current issues in psychology. It covers general psychology and specialized, basic, applied, clinical and theoretical research in psychology with more than 32,000 full-text articles from journals published by the APA and allied organizations. MEd students will benefit most from this database.
- PsycINFO
A new, full-text database containing articles from 540 journals and 2 million citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books, dissertations and technical reports, all in the field of psychology. It also contains information on the psychological aspects of related disciplines, such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business and law. Students in the MEd , MBA and BBA programs will find this database very useful.
- Regional Business News
Incorporates 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires covering all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States. Included are Arizona Business, Business North Carolina, Crain’s New York Business (and other Crain Communications editions), Des Moines Business Record, Enterprise Salt Lake City, Fort Worth Business Press, Orange County Business Journal, Westchester County Business Journal and more.
- Wilson Select
Multidisciplinary, full-text articles from magazines, journals and other periodicals. Includes full-text articles from Wilson databases such as Education Index, Readers’ Guide Abstracts, Library Literature, Social Sciences Abstracts, Humanities Abstracts, General Science Abstracts and Wilson Business Abstracts. Subject areas are business, education, general science, humanities, library science, social science and general interest. Excellent “first stop” for a broad overview of and access to full-text information.
A new database added to the library last spring, to be included in eglobalSearch in the coming months, is Hoover’s Pro, which delivers comprehensive company, industry and market intelligence. It includes 12 million companies, with in-depth coverage of 40,000 of the world’s top business enterprises, updated daily.
