Dana D'Alessio

Dana D'Alessio serves as a project manager for JIU’s accreditation initiatives. In this role, she facilitates and supports the Director of Accreditation and Quality Improvement along with the academic leadership, staff and administration in developing, implementing and reviewing the assessment of academic programs and support services. She ensures that JIU's systems and processes align with best practices. In turn, these efforts assist students by improving teaching and learning in JIU programs.

Through maximizing stakeholder involvement, Dana plans and guides the team to ensure the accreditation self-study process and data analytic activities are delivered on time and with a high level of quality For accreditation, Dana collaborates in the design, development and implementation of professional development, institutional research, self study development, site visit preparation, and reporting that drive institutional development and effectiveness.
