Bryan Wallace joined JIU in June of 2010 as the Senior Director of Corporate Development. In this role, he was responsible for the evaluation of potential financings, mergers, acquisitions and other business alliances. In 2011, Bryan assumed the role of Vice President of Partners and Strategy where he assumed responsibility for planning, leading and directing the corporate and international admissions channels for the university. In addition, Bryan is responsible for JIU’s competitive strategy development, where he serves as the subject matter expert in JIU’s competitive landscape and understanding and defining JIU’s competitive strengths. Bryan continues to assess new markets and analyze business opportunities, including new program development, mergers, acquisitions and strategic financings.
Prior to joining JIU, Bryan was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Services investment banking teams at BMO Capital Markets. In these roles, Bryan worked on public and private M&A assignments, including purchase and sale mandates, valuations, fairness opinions and strategic alternatives. Before joining BMO, Bryan worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Putnam Lovell NBF Securities.
Bryan has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
