Constance R. Heiland
Constance R. Heiland currently practices law full-time in Huntsville, Texas, and is a lecturer at Sam Houston State University. She also teaches online courses for Woodbury Institute at Champlain College, Legal Studies Program.
Ms. Heiland has taught a variety of business law courses including: business ethics and corporate social responsibility; legal analysis and writing; contracts and uniform commercial code; torts; wills; trusts and estate administration; interviewing and investigation; and advocacy.
Her legal practice experience has included full-time private practice, concentrating on civil litigation in Ohio and Texas in federal and state courts, transactional law involving contracts, wills, trusts, and estate administration, and business organizations. She has also served as the Student Legal Advisor at Sam Houston State University and worked as a planned giving professional at Gettysburg College. She also has served as Dean of Development at Vermont Law School.
