Glenn Stout
Currently a PMP certified project manager as an independent consultant at a 4 billion dollar Chicago-based pharmaceutical organization, Dr. Stout also is an Adjunct faculty at Colorado Technical University since 2005, teaching doctoral courses in Information Security, as well as online courses in software development, IT management and information security. Dr. Stout mentors Doctoral students at CTU as well as at Nova Southeastern University. He is an Adjunct at University of Illinois, Springfield teaching online courses in Management Information Systems. For more than 22 years, Dr Stout was employed in the IT industry, serving as a Project Manager, a leader in Process and Methodology, as well as a QA mentor.
Dr. Stout has been published in the Computer Security Journal in 2002 and 2004. The first was in the area of public key infrastructure assessments. The second was Dr. Stout’s dissertation idea: Assessing the impact of security countermeasures on organizations. He has been published in 2008 in the Software Test and Performance magazine regarding testing methodology and in 2001-2002, several articles were published in online magazines and vendor websites in the area of software development. A welcomed speaker at the IBM Rational User conference (13 times from 2000-2006) and most recently at the QAI Quest conference (2012), Dr. Stout has spoke on the topics of software development best practices.
