Hugh Pforsich

Hugh Pforsich is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Sacramento State University, a position he has held for the last 6 years.  Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Idaho from 1998-2004. He has taught financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and accounting information systems to both undergraduate and graduate students for over 18 years.  For the last two years he has also been doing consulting work in the health care industry. Dr. Pforsich is widely published in academic journals such as Advances in Taxation, Global Perspectives on Accounting Education, Strategic Finance, Journal of Accounting and Finance Research, Advances in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Advances in Quantitative Analysis of Finance and Accounting, and The Tax Adviser.
