Jamie Thornton

Dr. Jamie Thornton has been teaching in various settings for several years. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Thornton completed her undergraduate education at the University of Texas in Austin, where she received a Bachelor’s in Political Science, English and Journalism.  For many years, Jamie has taught writing and literature. Dr. Thornton completed her master’s degree in education at Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, and wrote her dissertation on the rhetorical strategies used by President Lyndon Johnson to promote Head Start.  Dr. Thornton has lived in the North, South, and Eastern parts of the United States.
