Jill Adams is an Associate Professor of English at Metropolitan State University of Denver, a position she has held for the last 7 years. She has taught composition, young adult literature, teaching composition, and teaching English to undergraduate and graduate students for over 10 years and was a Teacher of Promise at the University of Kansas and the Lieberman Award winner at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. Before teaching at the post-secondary level, Jill taught secondary English at the middle and high school levels.
Some of Jill’s research interests include technology’s impact on writing and the infusion of service-learning in college courses. Jill is a past president of the Colorado Language Arts Society and also serves on the Executive Committee for the Colorado Teen Literature Conference.
