Dr. Mike Busch is a member of the faculty at Jones International University, a position he has held for the last 5 years. He has taught Team Effectiveness, Making Ethical Decisions, Conflict Management and Judgment and Decision Making to MBA students. Previously, he has taught graduate students in the Masters of Management program at Aquinas College and in the Seidman School of Business at Grand Valley State University.
He is a member of the National Communication Association, served as an article reviewer and adviser for university program development.
His research interests include the relationship between communication skill and leadership philosophy.
He has coached over 200 managers and leaders in the areas of managing work conversations, such as tension filled difficult conversations, and task assignment and performance satisfaction conversations, doing quality group work, strategic thinking, judgment and decision making in leadership.
