Pamela Parrish Peterson, PhD

Dr. Peterson is the Department Head and J. Gray Ferguson Professor of Finance in the Department of Finance and Business Law at James Madison University. Previously, she was Associate Dean and Professor in the College of Business at Florida Atlantic University and Professor of Finance at Florida State University. She is the author of four books and more than 50 articles, book chapters, and monographs related to a wide range of topics in finance. Her most recent book, co-authored with Frank J. Fabozzi, is Financial Management and Analysis. Dr. Peterson serves as a Financial Assurance Standards consultant with the State of Florida, and has been an expert witness for the Securities and Exchange Commission. She also serves as an instructor in preparing candidates in the U.S. and Europe for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) examination.
