Richard C. Thompson

Dr. Thompson serves as the Dean of Academic Administration at Jones International University. He has been involved in higher education for more than 25 years in both instruction and administration, most recently as an instructor in the BBA and MBA programs at JIU and as an adjunct faculty member of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). Dr. Thompson has been published in business journals in the areas of Strategic Management and Human Resources Management. As an administrator, Dr. Thompson has worked in student services, developing such projects as Strategic Planning and Process Re-Engineering. Dr. Thompson also has provided consulting services to private and public corporations since 1989 in the areas of Strategic Management and Statistical and Data Analysis.
