Rochelle L. Harris
Dr. Rochelle Harris teaches writing at Georgia State University. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at Central Michigan University from 2005-2008. She has taught writing, rhetoric and creative writing to both undergraduate and graduate students for the last 15 years. She has received two prestigious teaching awards from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Central Michigan University. In 2007, she was invited as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Rhetoric at Michigan State University. Dr. Harris has also led writing and pedagogy workshops for educators, students and community members, and served as an intervention specialist and literacy tutor.
Dr. Harris publishes both academic and creative writing in such journals as Fourth Genre, Crab Orchard Review, Passages North, Women's Studies Quarterly, Writing on the Edge and The Writing Instructor. She presents regularly at such national conferences as Conference on College Composition, and Communication and Feminism(s) and Rhetoric(s).
