Mr. Steve Parker has taught an array of education and humanities courses at the high school, college and university levels both online and on-ground. He currently teaches several online courses for Anthem College. For the previous five years, Mr. Parker served as Manager of Mentor Services for 400 faculty members at Northcentral University. Prior to that position, he was the Site Director of an online satellite program for Old Dominion University, assisting students with bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees. Mr. Parker has served as Chair of the Graphic Design department for North Idaho College and taught distance education courses for Gonzaga University. In addition to teaching, he owned and operated a graphic design business in Phoenix from 1985-1998.
In addition to teaching, Mr. Parker serves as a community activist for the arts, and has served on the Arts and Culture committees for Glendale, Arizona and Prescott Valley, Arizona, where he founded Friends of the Arts. He has illustrated 36 children’s books and presented cartooning workshops to over 60,000 children in the Phoenix area.
