Dr. William Loendorf is currently the Dean for the School of Business at Jones International University. Previously, Dr. Loendorf was a Full Professor of Engineering & Design at Eastern Washington University, a position he held for 10 years. Prior to that, Dr. Loendorf was an Adjunct Associate Professor at the College of Lake County from 1997 to 2002, an Adjunct Associate Professor at Regis University from 1985 to 1989 and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside from 1974 to 1983. He has taught and facilitated a wide variety of both business management and engineering courses.
In addition, Dr. Loendorf has 30 years of industrial experience as both a manager and engineer at Motorola from 1997 to 2001, Printronix from 1992 to 1997, Sun Microsystems from 1989 to 1991, Cadnetix from 1984 to 1989, Gettys from 1982 to 1983, Delco Electronics from 1978 to 1982 and Unico from 1973 to 1978.
During his academic and industrial careers, Dr. Loendorf has published over 40 professional journal and conference papers. He was the winner of the 2005 American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Annual Conference Best Paper Award and was nominated for the Best Paper Award at the 2010 American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Annual Conference as well. His interests include business and engineering management, technological literacy and improving the competitiveness of American companies.
