K-12 Clinical Practice Resources
Welcome to all K-12 program candidates, cooperating school faculty (K-12 mentors/site supervisors), and JIU faculty members! This web page has been developed to provide resources to facilitate K-12 program candidates in the successful completion of clinical practice, as well as faculty members and K-12 mentors/site supervisors as they support licensure candidates in developing the ability to positively impact K-12 student learning and achievement.
The student teaching or administrator internship is the culminating, professional synthesis of each candidate’s educator preparation degree program. In this rich and rewarding experience, K-12 program candidates have authentic, daily opportunities to implement newly acquired skills in K-12 learning environments.
Below are important resources that will guide candidates, cooperating mentors/site supervisors, and JIU faculty members in fulfilling their role in the clinical practice experience.
